Principal Attorney David Crockett founded Crockett & Crockett in 1995. His practice includes portfolio management, patent and trademark prosecution, investment due diligence and litigation. As an Orange County patent attorney, he represents industry leaders in a broad range of technologies, including bio-medical devices and virtual reality systems. He is a former United States Navy Lieutenant.

Principal Attorney Susan Crockett prosecutes patent applications and provides intellectual property counseling and litigation. Ms. Crockett has nine years of engineering experience in diverse areas of engineering, including leading teams of engineers working on the Atlas Centaur rocket system and designing and marketing computer systems. Ms. Crockett is vivacious and energetic; she applies her energy to outstanding achievement in all aspects of her legal practice and personal life.

Attorney Paul Backofen has obtained patent protection for a variety of clients in such divergent areas as digital cinema, microturbines and pre-fabricated wall sections. He counsels clients on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including how to develop and run IP management programs. Mr. Backofen is a former NASA electrical engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Attorney Niky Syrengelas practices in patent and trademark prosecution, litigation and analysis. Her experience includes trademark opposition litigation and goodwill defense of famous marks.
