Meet Orange County Intellectual Property Attorney Niky Syrengelas

Niky Economy Syrengelas, practices in the areas of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution, litigation and validity and infringement analysis. She has extensive experience in the field of trademark opposition litigation. Ms. Syrengelas has worked with clients to obtain patent protection in the fields of medical devices, mechanical devices, vestibular improvement devices and female sterilization methods and tools. Additionally, she has experience in monitoring and defending the goodwill of such famous marks as DC Shoes and Juice it Up!

Prior to joining Crockett & Crockett, Niky worked as a patent prosecutor at the firm of Brown, Martin, Haller & McClain. There she prosecuted U.S. applications in the mechanical arts field. Additionally she prosecuted both domestic and international trademark applications. Niky also worked as a litigation associate at Morrow & White. She defended various complex civil matters and handled all aspects of the litigation.

Niky loves to travel and read. She is a founding member of a woman’s book club that meets to discuss books of literary significance. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and sons Thanos and George.
