Davy Crockett is a principal in the firm, specializing in portfolio management and intellectual property strategy. Mr. Crockett's practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law, including U.S. and international patent protection, trademark prosecution, infringement and validity analysis and opinions, investment due diligence and intellectual property litigation.

Mr. Crockett is well known in the biomedical device industry. He has experience representing industry leaders with diverse technologies, including internet communications, silicon wafer processing and virtual reality systems. His technical expertise spans many disciplines, including nuclear power, electronics and electrical engineering, hydraulics, pumps and motors, medical devices, software, communications, silicon wafer processing, nitinol and shape memory materials.

Mr. Crockett draws on this vast technical experience to provide specialized patent counseling dealing with multidisciplinary technology issues.

Before becoming an intellectual property attorney, Mr. Crockett was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy on board the fast attack submarine USS La Jolla (SSN 701). Mr. Crockett was also associated with Lyon & Lyon before forming Crockett & Crockett.

Davy is an avid squash player and lives in Mission Viejo with his wife and fellow intellectual property attorney Susan Crockett.
